Dr Jonathan Leach Location - Worcester [Registered Medical Practitioner] Jonathan is a GP who graduated in 1983. Jonathan is an examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners and external examiner for the University of Swansea for their MSc for paramedics. In addition he undertakes shifts with the Central Accident Resuscitation Emergency Team (CARE Team) in Birmingham. - Examiner for DIMC RSC Ed
Mr Mark Dawes Location - Cannock [Registered Nurse]Mark has been involved in the field of immediate care for over 15 years after joining the West Midlands CARE Team as an Immediate Care Nurse. Whilst working within the team, he gained the DIMC RCS (Ed) in 2000. Mark currently works full time as the Lead Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Emergency Medicine at New Cross Hospital emergency department, Wolverhampton and has worked within emergency medicine for 20 years. He is also a registered independent nurse prescriber.
Mr Richard Steyn Location - Knowle [Registered Medical Practitioner] Richard Steyn is consultant thoracic surgeon at Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham and he has also worked in general practice. He took part in the original NHS Cancer Services Collaborative and was appointed the National Clinical Lead in demand and capacity for the NHS Modernisation Agency. Richard is the chairman of BASICS. In 2002 he was awarded the Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal for his voluntary work with the emergency services. - Holder of the DIMC RSC Ed
Prof Gavin Perkins Location - Solihull [Registered Medical Practitioner] Gavin Perkins is an Associate Professor in Critical Care and Resuscitation at the University of Warwick and Honorary Consultant Physician at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust. He is currently appointed as a Department of Health National Institute of Health Research Clinician Scientist. - Holder of the DIMC RSC Ed
